Cabbage leaf

Cabbage leaves is one of the best vegetable baits for fishing grass carp. The leaf must be fresh and preferably leaves from the center of the cabbage head. Those are softer and more attractive. Cut out the primary vein, that is actually used as bait. As a rule, a bait made out of cabbage leaf attracts large specimens of grass carp, which must be considered when choosing the rod and the rig.
